Terms and Conditions for Cyprus-FAQ User News Program
- Any subscriber of Cyprus-FAQ can become a participant.
- To participate, you can send text information, photos, or videos about events in Northern Cyprus.
- Suitable topics:
- accidents;
- traffic jams;
- power and water outages;
- fires;
- road closures;
- police checks;
- queues;
- municipal (belediye) issues;
- events;
- weather phenomena;
- unusual situations;
- incidents;
- local news and events.
- News with a good description is welcome, but material can also be sent without a detailed text. The following is sufficient:
- a photo or video;
- a brief explanation;
- the location.
- Rewards are paid only for materials published by the editorial team. The editors reserve the right not to publish materials without explaining the reasons.
- Base rewards:
- 25 USDT — best news of the week;
- 10 USDT — exclusive material (the decision on exclusivity is made by the editors);
- 3 USDT — published text news;
- +1 USDT — if a photo from the scene is attached to the news;
- +2 USDT — if a video from the scene is attached to the news.
- A video is eligible for a bonus if it:
- lasts at least 10 seconds;
- shows the event being reported.
- The reward amount is determined by the editors, taking into account:
- promptness;
- material quality;
- exclusivity of information;
- presence of photos or videos;
- audience engagement.
- Additionally, a points system may apply:
- news publication — +1 point;
- photo or video — +2 points;
- high reach and engagement — +1 point.
- Active participants can receive:
- additional bonuses;
- mentions in publications (at the author's request);
- Cyprus-FAQ correspondent status;
- participation in the author ranking.
- At the author's request, the editors can include their name or Telegram handle in the publication.
- Payments are made once a month — by the 10th day of the month following the reporting period.
- Payments are made exclusively in USDT:
- to the participant's crypto wallet;
- or via the nearest crypto exchange office, where the participant can collect the reward in USDT.
- The editorial team independently decides on:
- material publication;
- the reward amount;
- the format of information usage.
- By sending materials, the participant confirms that they:
- are the author of the photo, video, or information;
- have the right to transfer them to the editors;
- authorize the use of materials in Cyprus-FAQ projects.
- The editors reserve the right to:
- not publish materials;
- refuse payment in case of false information;
- change the rules of the program.
