The 24th International Olive Festival Zeytinlik concludes today

The Municipality of Kyrenia organized the 24th International Olive Festival Zeytinlik, held on October 4 at the Zeytinlik Village Square in Northern Cyprus. The festival featured various cultural and sports activities; the closing is scheduled for this evening.

The fourth day began with the awarding of winners in tennis and billiard tournaments. The program also included live caricature sketches and a seminar on olive trees and ancient seeds. A dance performance by the "Zumba Kids Joy" team showcased children's routines.

The evening session opened with the Anamur Municipality Folk Dance Ensemble. A nostalgic clothing display featuring women from Zeytinlik accompanied the historical-cultural part of the program. The musical segment was entrusted to Melisse Mutluayakalı and Ersan Korudağ, followed by a performance by the SOS Group.

The closing program takes place today at Zeytinlik Village Square in Northern Cyprus. Children's and youth events begin at 15:30. At 18:30, there will be an award ceremony for caricature and humor. At 19:15, a concert by Özlem and Muharrem is scheduled, followed by the olive dish contest awards at 20:30. The final event at 21:00 will be a concert by the Baria Group. Locals and visitors can attend the events at the specified times.
