Ataoğlu and Ersoy Visit Restored Selimiye Mosque in Nicosia
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth, and Environment Fikri Ataoğlu, alongside Turkish Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, visited the Selimiye Mosque in Nicosia, following the completion of its restoration by the TİKA agency.
During the visit, the ministers reviewed the results of the work and received detailed information regarding the building's restoration and renovation from the specialists in charge.
Following this, Ataoğlu and Ersoy visited the Ramadan Street in the Surlariçi district, where they inspected the Ramadan stands and engaged with local entrepreneurs and residents.
The ministers also observed the activities organized for the month of Ramadan, emphasizing the importance of such events in strengthening the atmosphere of unity, solidarity, and community.
