Cyprus Environmental Foundation distributes winter clothing to 330 children in Northern Cyprus

On January 27, 2026, the Cyprus Environmental Foundation, with the support of the TRNC Department of Religious Affairs and local authorities, organized the distribution of winter clothing to 330 needy children in Northern Cyprus.

According to the foundation, preliminary field surveys identified families with children in need of assistance. As part of the initiative, children received vouchers to purchase winter clothing.

The initiative was carried out with the support of HASENE International Association, directly managed by the Cyprus Environmental Foundation, while fieldwork was conducted by representatives of the TRNC Department of Religious Affairs and district coordinators.

The foundation noted that this initiative is part of its social responsibility efforts, aimed at strengthening community solidarity and ensuring children’s basic needs. For residents of Northern Cyprus, it demonstrates that local organizations and state institutions continue collaborative efforts to support families in difficult circumstances.
