Forest fire intensifies in Antalya’s Karaöz area
A major forest fire continues in Antalya’s Karaöz area. Fanned by strong winds, the blaze is spreading and has reached the border of Antalya Province. Residents are being evacuated from several villages and settlements threatened by the fire.
Due to nightfall, firefighting aircraft and helicopters are temporarily unable to operate from the air. Efforts to contain the fire are continuing on the ground. Firefighters, forestry services and other units are working at the scene. The situation in the region remains critical.
