Between the government and a university: a new cooperation agreement signed in the TRNC

In Northern Cyprus, a cooperation protocol was signed between the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister and the Eastern Mediterranean University (DAÜ). The document is aimed at developing joint projects in the fields of education, science, and public initiatives.
The agreement provides for closer interaction between state institutions and the university, including the implementation of joint programs, research, and activities focused on the public needs of the country. Special attention is planned to be given to knowledge exchange, specialist training, and the use of DAÜ’s academic potential in government projects.
Representatives of both sides noted that the cooperation will make it possible to more effectively utilize the university’s scientific and human resources, as well as contribute to the socio-economic development of the TRNC.
