Kyrenia Municipality Organizes Events for Children in Barış Park

Municipal authorities in Kyrenia have announced the launch of a special summer events program for children, which will take place in Barış Park in the city. The municipality's Social Affairs Department has developed a comprehensive open-air recreational and educational platform aimed at providing meaningful leisure activities for the younger generation during the school holidays. The organizers aim to create a safe, interactive environment where the city's young residents can develop creative skills and actively socialize with their peers.

As part of the planned program, various themed areas will be set up throughout the park complex, including creative workshops, active play zones, theatrical performances and animation shows. The program includes educational master classes in applied arts, modeling and drawing, which will be supervised by qualified teachers and volunteers. All activities are designed for different age groups and are intended to stimulate children's interest in sports, art and environmental care.

The Kyrenia administration emphasized that access to all play and educational areas in Barış Park will be completely free and open to everyone without prior registration. City services have already completed the necessary preparation of the park infrastructure, providing additional safety measures and shading the workshop areas to protect participants from the sun.
