Beshbarmak Culture and Arts Days Begin Today in Northern Cyprus
The 12th annual "Beshbarmak Culture and Arts Days" festival, organized by the Municipality of Çatalköy-Esentepe, kicks off today in the TRNC.
According to the municipality’s statement, "the two-day event promises unforgettable experiences, blending the region's rich culture with the talent of local artists."
Festivities will start at 7:00 PM with an opening parade in front of the Düzkaya Sports Club. Following the parade, the Çatalköy-Esentepe Municipality’s folk dance group, "Nostalgia," will perform.
To wrap up the first day of the festival, there will be performances by the bi-communal choir of the Cyprus Havaları Association, Grup Otantik, and the Turkish Classical Music Choir "Ahenk" from the Çatalköy-Esentepe Municipality. The evening will close with a concert by the popular band Zakkum at 10:00 PM.
On Saturday, September 28, events will begin with another folk dance performance by the Çatalköy-Esentepe Municipality at 8:00 PM, followed by Grup Salt at 8:30 PM. The festival will culminate with a concert by Mehmet Erdem at 10:00 PM.
