Eid al-Adha comes to an end in Northern Cyprus
Today, May 30, the four-day Muslim holiday of Eid al-Adha comes to an end. The holiday period passed in an atmosphere of calm and solidarity: residents made official and family visits, and also distributed sacrificial meat to those in need. Due to the hot weather, many citizens preferred to spend these days outdoors, in parks, picnic areas and along the coast.
The five-day holiday, created by combining the holiday with the weekend, will end tomorrow. Starting on Monday, all public institutions and schools in the TRNC will resume work as usual.
Security services, medical workers and municipal services continue to remain on duty to maintain order until the holiday period is fully over
