The Arrival of Calendar Summer: Changes in Work Schedules and Seasonal Restrictions
Today, May 31, spring comes to an end, and tomorrow calendar summer officially begins. The change of season traditionally brings changes to daily routines and the working pace, adapting them to new weather conditions and temperature patterns.
With the start of June, many government institutions, courts and municipal services move to a special summer schedule with shorter working hours in the afternoon. In addition, due to the expected rise in temperatures in the coming months, the annual ban on carrying out construction and any heavy physical work outdoors during the peak hours of heat comes into force — from noon until four o'clock in the afternoon.
Along with the change in seasonal schedules, this period coincides with the enforcement of new migration rules and strict restrictions in the real estate sector that came into force during the outgoing spring. The current legal deadlines continue to apply in summer, requiring the timely regularization of status and the registration of documents with the relevant authorities.
