Fuel prices to fall in Turkey: expected changes from June 1
From June 1, 2026, a decrease in the cost of gasoline and diesel fuel is planned in Turkey. According to forecasts, the price of gasoline will decrease by 1.38 Turkish lira, while the cost of diesel fuel will fall by 1.81 lira.
Taking into account the application of the eşel mobil system, after the changes take effect retail gasoline prices in major cities will be as follows: in Istanbul — 62.94 lira, in Ankara — 63.91 lira, and in Izmir — 64.19 lira. This price adjustment comes against the backdrop of general volatility in the oil market, which saw Brent surge from 75 to 115 dollars after the start of hostilities on February 28, 2026.
