Drunk passenger detained at Ercan Airport for causing a disturbance
A 43-year-old passenger who caused a disturbance at the passport control desk was detained at Ercan Airport.
According to police, the incident occurred on the evening of 3 August. During the check, it was found that the man was intoxicated — his alcohol level was 185 milligrams.
It is reported that the passenger crumpled his boarding pass and handed it to a passport control officer. After being reprimanded, he began shouting loudly for no apparent reason and disturbing public order.
The man was detained. The investigation is ongoing.
