The official opening of the Yıldız Art Park and the Atatürk bust took place in Çatalköy
As part of the celebrations for International Children's Day, the Çatalköy-Esentepe Municipality officially put into service a new large-scale social area by opening the Atatürk bust and the Yıldız public art park. The ceremonial program began with the unveiling ceremony of the monument, followed by a festive show in which local schoolchildren, teachers, representatives of the official protocol and numerous residents of the region took part. As part of the entertainment program for children, a well-known music group performed, organizing a festive concert that became the central event of the day for the youngest visitors.
Municipal officials emphasized that the new facility was designed not simply as a standard children's playground, but as a key cultural space intended to significantly enrich the social life of the region. The construction of the new park was fully financed from the internal reserves of the local authorities without resorting to external loans or foreign credits. In the administration's long-term plans is a large-scale modernization of the area with the aim of turning the new zone into a full-fledged open-air museum. The opening of these two facilities became an important contribution to the development of Çatalköy's infrastructure, providing both local residents and foreign expats with a new well-maintained place for family recreation and cultural leisure.
