An eco-cleanup event will take place in Kyrenia at Barış Park: everyone is invited

On December 13, from 9:00 to 13:00, a community initiative for cleaning and improving the area will take place at Barış Park in Kyrenia. The project is being implemented by students of Final International University together with city volunteers.

Participants in the event will collect and sort trash, so that part of the waste can be sent for recycling, and will also place informational materials in the park urging visitors to keep it clean. The organizers emphasize that the goal of the project is not only to restore the park’s well-kept appearance but also to remind residents of their personal responsibility for the environment.

After the first cleanup, the eco-relay is planned to be passed on to the next volunteer groups to maintain order in the park on a regular, monthly basis.
On behalf of the organizers and the students of Final International University, all residents and visitors of Kyrenia are invited to join the initiative.
