GABFEST 2026 3×3 street basketball tournament to be held in Gönyeli
The GABFEST 2026 3×3 street basketball tournament will be held from 27 to 30 August at Yalçın Park in Gönyeli. The competition is organised by the Gönyeli — Alayköy Municipality together with the TRNC Basketball Federation.
Teams will compete in the U10, U12, U14, U16, U18, adult and masters categories. Registration for women’s and men’s teams will be conducted separately. The tournament winner will receive 20,000 Turkish lira, while the runner-up will receive 16,000 lira.
In addition to the basketball games, DJ sets and other festival activities will take place over the four days. Hip Hop Night, featuring dance performances, will be held on 29 August.
Free inflatable play areas will be provided for children, while vendors and food stalls will operate throughout the festival grounds.
