218 tablets dispensed under a “green” prescription seized in Lefkoşa: two detained
Police in Lefkoşa seized 218 tablets dispensed under a so-called «green» prescription. Two suspects were detained in connection with the case.
According to the police press service, the operation took place on 4 August at around 11:00. It was carried out by officers from the Crime Prevention Department of the Lefkoşa Police Directorate during patrols.
During the operation, 218 tablets of various types classified as medicines dispensed under a «green» prescription were found in the possession of two men aged 24 and 27. All the medicines were seized as evidence.
Both suspects were detained. The investigation is ongoing.
