A man was found on the road in Nicosia, drugs seized from him

On November 7, 2025, at around 14:00 in Nicosia in Northern Cyprus, on Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu Street, an unconscious man identified as H.A.B. (male, 49 years old) was found. An ambulance was called to the scene, and the victim was taken to Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital in Nicosia.

After medical assistance was completed, the police conducted a personal search of the detainee. During the inspection, two pieces of paper believed to contain a synthetic cannabinoid-type substance were seized from H.A.B. The seized items were submitted as physical evidence.
