TRNC Police Force to Recruit 170 New Officers
The Police Headquarters of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) has announced plans to recruit 170 new police officers: 140 men and 30 women. Applications will be accepted between December 9 and December 13, 2024.
Eligibility Requirements
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Be citizens of the TRNC.
- Be between 18 and 30 years old.
- Hold a secondary school diploma.
Physical fitness, health conditions, and compliance with other criteria will also play a significant role in the selection process.
Application Process and Exams
Applicants are required to submit their applications in person at their local police district offices, along with the necessary documentation. Details regarding application requirements and exam schedules are available on the official TRNC Police website: www.polis.gov.ct.tr.
The selection process includes multiple stages:
- Professional Exam: Scheduled for December 21, 2024, in Nicosia.
- English Proficiency Test: Will take place on December 28, 2024.
- Physical Fitness Test: Candidates who pass the initial exams will proceed to the physical test, which will be conducted from January 3 to January 5, 2025.
- Final Assessment: The final phase involves written and oral tests to evaluate candidates further.
