Electricity will be cut off for 3 hours in the Famagusta region on Thursday
The Electricity Authority (KIB-TEK) warns residents of the Gazimagusa region about a planned power outage on Thursday, June 4, 2026. Electricity supply will be suspended due to repair and maintenance work on a high-voltage transmission line. The outage will last three hours: from 10:00 to 13:00.
KIB-TEK strongly urges residents to take the necessary precautions. Power supply may be restored earlier or later than the stated time depending on the progress of the work, so citizens are urged to observe safety rules and always assume that the lines are live.
