The Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment of Northern Cyprus made an official statement, emphasizing the urgent need for large-scale support for small craftsmen, local producers, and the trade sector. According to the head of the ministry, the government is developing a comprehensive strategy aimed at revitalizing market infrastructure and stimulating domestic production, which is expected to become a key driver for strengthening the economic stability of the TRNC in current conditions.

In his address, the minister noted that traditional Cypriot crafts and local retail businesses form the foundation of the island's economic ecosystem, so their protection and development are priority tasks for the relevant agencies. The ministry plans to launch a number of new projects that will make it easier for local entrepreneurs to access sales markets, help integrate traditional products into the tourism sector, and provide the necessary tools to modernize work processes.

The ministry head placed particular emphasis on the importance of coordinated action between state institutions and chambers of commerce and industry to promptly address the accumulated problems of business. The ministry expressed confidence that, through systematic state support and the stimulation of domestic demand, the TRNC will be able not only to restore its previous economic indicators, but also to bring local production to a qualitatively new level, ensuring long-term financial independence.
