What to consider when choosing a medical programme
For medical specialisations, it is important to consider more than just the cost. Doctors, dentists, pharmacists, nurses and other medical professionals work in regulated professions, so the requirements for diploma recognition depend on the country where the graduate plans to work.
Before applying, it is worth checking the programme duration, language of instruction, location of clinical training and diploma recognition rules in the relevant country. This is especially important for joint programmes in which part of the training takes place outside Northern Cyprus.
Those who have already received medical education abroad and plan to work in Northern Cyprus may find the separate guide «How to Have a Medical Diploma Recognised in Northern Cyprus» useful.
