• the city first in the Greek/international version, then in Turkish.

An SMS notification about the parcel’s arrival usually comes to the Turkish number. When collecting the parcel, postal staff may ask for an ID document.

How delivery through Northern Cyprus works

All international mail addressed to Northern Cyprus first arrives at the main northern post office in Nicosia. After that, the parcels are distributed to local regional branches.

For example, if you enter the address of a branch in Girne, the parcel will first arrive in Nicosia and then be forwarded to Girne.

When filling in the address, the following logic is used:

• the postal code of Northern Cyprus;
• the city name in its international or Greek version — for correct redirection through the southern part of the island and international sorting services;
• the city name in Turkish — for internal sorting already in Northern Cyprus.

Pickup takes place directly at the post office.
