Cyprus Motor Museum in Limassol is the largest museum of historic automobiles in the Republic of Cyprus and one of the best-known automobile museums in the Eastern Mediterranean. It opened in 2014 thanks to Cypriot collector and racing driver Dimitris Mavropoulos, who devoted more than thirty years to finding, buying, and restoring rare cars.

Particular attention is drawn by the state Rolls-Royce used by the first president of the Republic of Cyprus, Archbishop Makarios III, as well as rare Bentley, Jaguar, Cadillac, Chevrolet, MG, classic Mini and Volkswagen Beetle, and sports cars such as Ferrari, Porsche, and Lotus.

Cyprus Classic Motorcycle Museum

Cyprus Classic Motorcycle Museum is located in Nicosia, but is entirely dedicated to the history of motorcycles. The classic motorcycle museum was founded by Andreas Nicolaou, who began collecting his collection back in 1980. Today it comprises more than 450 motorcycles produced between 1914 and 1983. It is a specialized private collection created by enthusiasts of classic motorbikes, who spent many years searching for and restoring rare models.

A special place is occupied by the legendary British manufacturers Triumph, Norton, BSA, and Matchless. Alongside them you can see European and Japanese models, many of which have preserved original engine, suspension, and body parts.

Most of the motorcycles are in working order and have undergone a full restoration. Some examples are quite rare even by European standards.
