Rope Parks in Cyprus

Updated: 3 days ago

Rope parks in Cyprus are a good way to keep children occupied in summer and during the holidays, especially if you want to spend the day actively and outdoors. Most of these parks are located in mountainous areas or near forests and offer routes of different difficulty levels: from children’s courses to teenage and adult obstacle course and zip-line routes.

Sparti Adventure Rope Park

Sparti Adventure Rope Park is one of the most well-known rope parks in the Republic of Cyprus, located in Pano Platres in the Troodos Mountains. The park offers more than 250 different obstacles, suspension bridges, nets, tree platforms and zip-line. The routes are designed for different age groups and skill levels: from easy children’s courses to challenging routes for teenagers and adults. Among the most popular activities are cable descents at speed and Free Fall Jump for thrill-seekers.

It usually takes two to three hours to complete the routes, so the park is suitable for a full-day family trip. Separate courses are provided for younger children, while adults can choose more difficult levels with additional obstacles. In summer, the park is especially active and becomes a popular place for outdoor relaxation away from the coastal heat. The easiest way to get here is by car, but bus No. 64 also runs from Limassol and stops not far from the park.

Admission price depends on age and the selected routes. Children’s courses start at around 14–18 euros, while tickets for teenagers and adults usually cost from 25 euros. Full access to all courses and additional activities can cost around 40 euros. The park regularly runs special promotions and seasonal offers, so before visiting it is worth checking the official website for current prices.

For your visit, sportswear that does not restrict movement and closed shoes with good ankle support are recommended. In summer, it is also worth taking water, a hat and sunscreen, although thanks to its mountain location the temperature here is usually noticeably more comfortable than on the coast.
