Balletto di Milano is one of Italy's finest ballet companies and has been performing all over the world for over 40 years. The ballet Carmen is an exclusive neoclassical version created by Balletto di Milano based on the famous story by Prosper Mérimée and music by Girier Bizet. The familiar story performed by Italian dancers has taken on new colours.

According to the creators of the production, its main characters are Carmen and Fate, which rules over people. Sergeant José's passionate love for a beautiful gypsy woman turns him into a deserter and smuggler. But Carmen is not known for her loyalty: her new passion is the bullfighter Escamillo. However, José cannot forgive the betrayal and kills his beloved. Who is the main antagonist in this story? You decide!

A breathtaking spectacle will unfold before you: the famous habanera, a passionate pas de deux and many colourful ensemble dances of Gypsies, soldiers and cigar factory workers, performed by professional dancers to Bizet's brilliant music.
