Cyprus Ministry of Transport and Intercity Buses Increase Summer Services Between Nicosia and Ayia Napa

The Ministry of Transport, together with bus operator Intercity Buses, has decided to increase the number of trips on the busy Nicosia — Ayia Napa / Paralimni route for the summer period. This step is aimed at improving transport accessibility between the capital and the popular resorts of the Famagusta region during the peak season.

The additional services have been scheduled to meet passenger demand at different times of day: the morning hours are intended to strengthen the flow from Nicosia to the coast, while in the afternoon and evening more buses have been added in the opposite direction, toward the capital. This timetable allows holidaymakers, including students and young people, to travel comfortably to the beaches in the morning and return to Nicosia without difficulty at the end of the day.
