On March 5th, dusty weather with occasional rain and snow in the mountains is expected in Cyprus
According to the Department of Meteorology of the Republic of Cyprus, weak low pressure will affect the region on Tuesday, March 5th. Meteorologists promise high cloudiness and periodic precipitation.
Today, in the first half of the day, locally increased cloudiness will be periodically observed, which may result in isolated showers mainly in the mountains. Fine dust will be observed in the atmosphere from time to time. The wind will be mainly southeast and southwest, ranging from light to moderate.
According to the meteorological forecast, the air temperature during the day will reach up to 22°C in inland areas, up to 20°C on the coasts, and up to 13°C in mountainous regions.
By evening, the weather will gradually become cloudy, with local downpours possible. Wet snow is possible on the highest peaks of Troodos. The air temperature will drop to approximately 7°C inland, 10°C on the coast, and 4°C in mountainous areas, where frosts may occur in some places.
On Wednesday, the temperature will slightly decrease but will continue to fluctuate above average climatic values. No significant changes are expected on Thursday and Friday.
