Support campaigns for families in need intensify in Cyprus before Easter
Social support campaigns have begun in various cities across Cyprus ahead of Easter. Municipalities, NGOs, and companies are providing assistance to vulnerable families and social institutions.
In Nicosia, the company Aphrostrom donated mattresses, bedding, and other essentials worth about 40,000 euros to a nursing home in Aglantzia.
In Limassol, the municipal social grocery store distributed about 350 Easter food packages to residents in need of help.
Also, the EKYSY organization in the Kaimakli area delivered "love packages" of food to more than 70 families facing difficult life situations.
The Municipality of Larnaca announced its traditional food distribution through the social store, and Wolt donated 50 packages with food and Easter gifts for needy families through the Cyprus Red Cross.
Organizers note that such initiatives help support families in difficult times and highlight the values of solidarity and mutual aid during the holiday period.
