19 Cyprus-Flagged Vessels in Persian Gulf; Crews Reported Safe
The Shipping Deputy Ministry of Cyprus announced on Tuesday that 19 Cyprus-flagged vessels are currently operating in the Persian Gulf. According to the ministry, all vessels and their crews are safe.
The statement noted that the situation has been monitored around the clock since the onset of regional tensions. The Ministry remains in constant contact with the ship management companies. Most of these vessels are based in the region permanently, providing specialized offshore services. A circular issued on February 28 remains in effect, advising enhanced security measures to protect maritime safety and human life.
