Fire in Limnatis, Limassol district, brought under control
A major fire that broke out on Tuesday morning in the Limnatis area of Limassol district has been brought under control. This was reported by Glafkos Kyriakou, a representative of the Department of Forests. Ground forces from the Department of Forests, four fire engines and five aerial assets took part in extinguishing the fire.
According to preliminary information, the fire spread through hard-to-reach terrain. Videos showing intense flames at the scene have appeared on social media.
