In Limassol, a tree fell on a moving car
An incident occurred in Limassol during the day: a tree fell on a car that was in motion.
The incident took place on Paphos Street, where a large tree growing on the sidewalk collapsed onto the road for unknown reasons and struck a passing vehicle.
There has been no information regarding casualties yet. The circumstances of the incident are under investigation.
As a reminder, the Cyprus Meteorological Service has issued a yellow weather warning, effective from 07:00 Saturday to 07:00 Sunday. Heavy rains, isolated thunderstorms, and strong northeasterly winds are expected to affect the island periodically.
