Food delivery courier attacked in Limassol and robbed of €1,800
The police of the Republic of Cyprus are investigating a robbery attack on a 21-year-old food delivery courier, committed on the night of July 8 in Limassol.
According to preliminary data, around 01:00, three unknown men on scooters blocked the courier's car. The attackers opened the driver's door, forcibly pulled the young man out of the vehicle, and beat him.
After that, the assailants stole €1,800 in cash, which was in the storage compartment of the car, and fled in an unknown direction.
The injured man was taken by ambulance to the State Hospital of Limassol. Doctors diagnosed him with facial injuries. After receiving first aid, the man was sent home.
The investigation is being carried out by officers of the criminal police of Limassol.
