In Limassol, 100 kilometers of water pipeline will be fully replaced for €9.2 million
The Limassol Water Board (WBL) has announced the launch of a major infrastructure project to upgrade the city’s water distribution network. As part of the program, about 100 kilometers of outdated and worn water pipes will be fully replaced. The total cost of the large-scale works is estimated at 9.2 million euros.
The main goal of the modernization is to dramatically reduce commercial and technical water losses caused by hidden leaks in the old system, which is especially critical for the island amid the current shortage of water resources.
