Intercity bus driver forced a disabled passenger to get off in the middle of the road

The ANT1 TV channel reported a complaint from a Cypriot woman who accuses an intercity bus driver of rude and dangerous treatment of her disabled son.
According to the woman, her son, who has a hearing impairment and is entitled to free travel, was traveling in the morning from Paphos to a hospital in Nicosia. The bus heating was on, making it difficult for him to breathe, and he experienced severe discomfort.
Because he has poor hearing, the young man typed a short message on his phone asking the driver to turn off the heating and showed it to him. In response, according to the mother, the driver became angry, stopped the bus "in some unfamiliar location," and ordered the passenger to get out.
The young man reportedly felt dizzy and initially did not even realize where he was. The mother used GPS to help him orient himself and guided him on how to reach another bus to return to Paphos.
The complaint has been forwarded to the competent authorities, and an investigation of the incident is expected.
