Larnaca and Famagusta reservoirs are fuller than a year ago
All four reservoirs in the Larnaca and Famagusta districts are currently fuller than at the same time last year. The figures were published by the Cyprus Water Development Department.

The largest of them, the Kalavasos reservoir, with a capacity of 17.1 million cubic metres, is 21.8% full: it currently holds 3.734 million cubic metres of water. A year ago, the figure was just 12.9%.
The Lefkara reservoir currently holds 2.402 million cubic metres, or 17.3% of its capacity, compared with 14.8% a year earlier. The Dipotamos reservoir is 25.9% full, holding 4.017 million cubic metres; a year ago, it was 22.9% full.
The situation is worst at the Achna reservoir: it holds just 0.380 million cubic metres, or 5.6% of its capacity. But even here, water levels have risen — a year ago, Achna was only 2.3% full.
