Explosion Reported Near Cultural Center in Limassol
Late last night, an explosion occurred near a cultural center located in the city center of Limassol. The incident happened at around 03:30 on Megalou Alexandrou Street, at the main entrance to the building.
As a result of the explosion, the building’s entrance area was damaged, as was a car parked nearby.
Police cordoned off the scene and launched an investigation. As morning breaks, bomb disposal experts and forensic service officers will begin work to determine the type of explosive device and collect the necessary evidence.
