Beaches of Alsancak
Alsancak is a popular region near Girne, attracting tourists and expats. Here you can find large hotels and beach clubs, although there are few wild places due to dense construction.
Camelot Beach
A popular beach club in the eastern part of Alsancak. There is an entrance fee (100 Turkish Lira as of summer 2023), which includes sun loungers and umbrellas. The beach is sandy, and there is a cafe bar. One downside is that it is not cleaned during the low season. Opening hours: 9:00 to 19:00.
Mare Monte Beach
Another beach club with standard amenities such as showers, changing cabins, sun loungers, and umbrellas. There is a cafe with sandwiches and burgers. There is also a diving center nearby. Some people consider the parking area to be tight.
Beach near Coral Marine Watersports
One of the few wild beaches in Alsancak. You can reach it via a dirt road, but there are no facilities.
Denizkizi Hotel Beach
A full-service hotel beach with all the necessary amenities, located in a picturesque and secluded bay, ensuring that waves won't bother you. The hotel allows non-guests to use the beach, but it is not free, of course.
Escape Beach Club
A great sandy beach in a beautiful bay. The beach provides sun loungers, umbrellas, showers, toilets, a cafe, and Wi-Fi. The entrance fee is 75 Turkish Lira per day (prices as of July 2023).
Kervansaray Beach
Formerly a paid beach in the eastern part of Alsancak with infrastructure, it is currently somewhat neglected, but there is no entrance fee.
