Cold Weather and Morning Frost Expected in Northern Cyprus on March 21
The TRNC Meteorology Department forecasts chilly weather and morning frost for Northern Cyprus on Friday, March 21, as low pressure and cold, humid air continue to dominate the region.
Skies will be partly cloudy with no expected rainfall, but frost may form in the early morning hours.
Temperatures will be 3-5°C below the seasonal average, ranging between 11°C and 16°C across most areas.
Meteorologists have issued a warning for strong northwesterly winds across the country.
March 21 Weather Forecast by Region:
- Northern Coast: Kyrenia – 15°C, Lapta – 14°C, Akdeniz – 15°C, Alevkaya – 11°C, Esentepe – 13°C
- Western Coast: Lefke – 15°C, Güzelyurt – 16°C
- Central Region: Nicosia – 15°C, Ercan – 15°C
- Eastern Coast: Famagusta – 16°C, İskele – 16°C
- Karpas Peninsula: Yenierenköy – 14°C
