Hot, Dusty Weather Expected in Northern Cyprus on April 23
The TRNC Department of Meteorology has announced that Tuesday, April 23, will bring hot and dusty weather to Northern Cyprus. A low-pressure system combined with warm, humid air is expected to dominate the region. Skies will be partly cloudy, with no rain in the forecast, but fine dust particles will remain present in the air.
Temperatures are set to rise 5–7°C above seasonal averages, reaching between 25°C and 32°C across most areas. The hottest spots will be Nicosia and Ercan, where the mercury is expected to hit 32°C and 31°C respectively.
Winds have shifted to a southwesterly direction and may pick up strength in some areas. A dust warning remains in effect for Northern Cyprus, as a cloud of dust from North Africa continues to linger in the atmosphere. The dust is expected to persist until the morning of April 25.

• Western Coast: Lefke – 27°C, Güzelyurt – 30°C
• Central Region: Nicosia – 32°C, Ercan – 31°C
• Eastern Coast: Famagusta – 24°C, İskele – 30°C
• Karpas Peninsula: Yenierenköy – 25°C
