June 27: Heat Up to 41°C in the TRNC

According to the TRNC Department of Meteorology, on Thursday, June 27, the region will continue to be affected by low pressure and hot, humid air. Meteorologists predict clear to slightly cloudy weather.

Today's temperature will rise 5-7°C above the norm, with a maximum of 41°C. The hottest weather is expected in Nicosia and Ercan.

Winds will be southwesterly and moderate in strength. No storms are expected today.

Two meteorological warnings are in effect in Northern Cyprus. The risk of wildfires remains very high. The ultraviolet radiation level is also high.

Do not stay in the sun for more than 15 minutes, especially between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM, without taking necessary precautions.
