August 30: Rain Expected in the Interior and Eastern Parts of Northern Cyprus
The Meteorology Department of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) has forecasted that on Friday, August 30, the region will experience low pressure along with cool, moist air in the upper atmosphere. Forecasters predict partly cloudy skies, with brief showers expected in the interior regions and the eastern part of the country.
Temperatures will remain within normal ranges for this time of year, hovering between 31°C and 38°C across most of the region. The highest temperatures are expected in Lefka and Ercan.
Winds will be blowing from the southwest at a moderate strength, occasionally reaching strong gusts. No storms are anticipated today.
There are currently two weather warnings in effect for Northern Cyprus. The risk of wildfires remains high, and ultraviolet radiation levels are also elevated. It's advised to avoid staying in direct sunlight for more than 15 minutes, particularly between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM, without proper precautions.

- Eastern Coast: Famagusta – 34°C, İskele – 37°C
- Karpas Peninsula: Yenierenköy – 33°C
