30°C in Lapta, 37°C in Nicosia: Northern Cyprus Weather for August 29

According to the TRNC Meteorological Department, low pressure and cool, moist air in the upper atmosphere will influence Northern Cyprus on Thursday, August 29. The weather is expected to be partly cloudy with no rainfall.

Air temperatures will stay within the seasonal norms, ranging from 30°C to 37°C across most of the country. Winds will be moderate from the southwest, occasionally gusting to strong levels. No storms are forecasted for today.

Two weather warnings are currently in effect for Northern Cyprus. The risk of wildfires remains high, and the ultraviolet radiation levels are also elevated. It is advised not to stay in direct sunlight for more than 15 minutes, especially between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM, without appropriate sun protection.
