Ercan Airport to Handle 190 Flights Over December 31 and January 1

Ercan Airport is preparing for a busy start to the new year, with 115 flights scheduled to arrive and depart on January 1, 2025. During the holiday week, from December 28, 2024, to January 3, 2025, a total of 691 flights are expected to pass through the main gateway of the TRNC.

 

T&T Airport Management, the company responsible for the airport’s operations, announced that all necessary precautions have been taken to ensure safe and comfortable travel for passengers during the holiday season.

With the New Year celebrations, the airport is anticipating a surge in both flights and passenger traffic. Airlines operating at Ercan Airport—including Turkish Airlines, Pegasus Airlines, Ajet Airlines, SunExpress, Fly Kıbrıs, and Freebird Airlines—have added extra flights to meet the holiday demand.

On Monday, December 30, 2024, Ercan Airport will manage 100 flights—50 arrivals and 50 departures.

On Tuesday, December 31, 2024, 75 flights are scheduled, with 38 arrivals and 37 departures.

On New Year’s Day, January 1, 2025, the airport is set to handle 115 flights—55 arrivals and 60 departures.
