Clear Weather Continues on August 9 in Northern Cyprus

According to the TRNC Meteorology Department, Northern Cyprus remains under the influence of low pressure and hot, humid air on Friday, August 9. The region will experience mostly clear weather with only a few clouds and no precipitation.

Temperatures will stay within the normal climatic range. The hottest conditions today are expected in Nicosia and Ercan, where temperatures may reach 38-39°C, while the northern coast will see temperatures between 31-34°C.

A moderate southwest wind is expected, with no storms on the horizon.

Two weather warnings remain in effect for Northern Cyprus. The risk of wildfires is extremely high, and the ultraviolet (UV) radiation level is also very high.

It is strongly advised not to stay in the sun for more than 10 minutes without proper precautions, especially between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
