TRNC Artist Nominated for Hollywood Independent Music Awards

Cypriot-Turkish artist Mirana Faiz has been nominated for the Hollywood Independent Music Awards 2024.

Faiz has been recognized as one of the top six contemporary classical artists for her piece "Whisper of the Journey." She was invited to Los Angeles, where she attended the awards ceremony and performed at various events.

The album featuring the nominated track was recorded at the iconic Abbey Road Studios, with renowned producers John Barrett and Chris Parker.

Scheduled for release later this year, the album showcases compositions that delve deeply into emotion and creativity through the piano.

According to information provided by the artist's family, Mirana Faiz is the first artist from Cyprus to be nominated for the Hollywood Independent Music Awards 2024. She is currently continuing her career in England after earning a master's degree from the Leeds Conservatoire.

In 2024, Faiz performed in various countries, including concerts at Sudeley Castle (England), Villa Bovey (Switzerland), and the Erbar Palace (Vienna, Austria).
