Athletes of Turkish Cypriot origin returned with awards from the championship in Macedonia
Members of the national team from the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Weightlifting and Bodybuilding Federation have returned from Macedonia adorned with championship titles and awards.
According to the federation's statement, athletes Hazel Oraç, Özkan Özeral, Ahmet Alkış, and Tugay Mayın participated in the International Bodybuilding and Fitness Championship IFBB held in Skopje, Macedonia.
Tugay Mayın stood atop the podium, clinching both the championship and the Elite Pro title in the "Men's Classic Physique" category. Hazel Oraç secured second place in the "Women's Body Fitness" category, while Özkan Özeral claimed silver in the "Men's Physique" category, and Ahmet Alkış earned third place in the "Men's Physique" category.
