Metin Feyzioğlu, the former ambassador of the Republic of Turkey in Nicosia, has officially been appointed to a similar position at the Embassy of the Czech Republic. This appointment was confirmed by a decree signed by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
The decree, published in the "Official Gazette," also includes several other ambassadorial appointments.
In particular, Hayriye Kumacığolu, the Director-General for Bilateral Relations, has been assigned to the Turkish Embassy in Slovenia. Meanwhile, Ayşe Hilal Sayın Koytak, the Director-General for Information Technology, has been transferred to the Embassy of Bahrain.
Hüseyin Barbaros Dikle, the Deputy Director-General for North Africa, will now serve at the Turkish Embassy in Zambia, and Şebnem İncesu, the General Manager for Bilateral Relations, has been appointed to the Embassy of Switzerland.
It's worth noting that Metin Feyzioğlu was appointed as Turkey's ambassador in Nicosia in November 2022. He left this position in July of this year and has now moved to a similar role in Prague. His position in Northern Cyprus will be filled by Yasin Ekrem Serim.
