Road from Metehan Roundabout to Ortaköy in Nicosia to Close for Almost a Month
The road from the Metahan Roundabout to Ortaköy in Nicosia will be closed to traffic for almost a month, starting from tomorrow until July 25.
According to a statement by the Turkish Municipality of Nicosia (LTB), this road closure will commence at 07:00 on Wednesday, July 3, as part of the development work on the road and infrastructure for the presidential and parliamentary campus.
The closure will affect only certain parts of the road: during the construction, access to the Ortaköy region from Kemal Şemiler Street (Kalin Yol) and the Metahan border gate will be blocked. Drivers heading towards Ortaköy are advised to use alternative routes.
