Two stabbings within half an hour in Famagusta: one victim in serious condition
In Famagusta, police are investigating two related knife incidents that occurred on December 28. According to police, at around 15:00 a conflict broke out inside one of the establishments: during a fight, a 36-year-old man (initials A.M.) wounded a 38-year-old man (B.A.) in the arm with a knife, which, as specified, he possessed illegally.
Approximately half an hour later, around 15:30, the conflict continued outside on İnkilap Sokak. There, according to investigators, the same 36-year-old participant again used a knife and stabbed a 32-year-old man (B.G.), who sustained serious injuries.
The injured man was taken to Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital in Nicosia and, after receiving treatment, was kept under observation. All individuals involved in the case have been detained, and the circumstances and causes of the incidents are being examined.
