Electricity temporarily cut in several districts of Nicosia and Kyrenia

The Cyprus Turkish Electricity Company (KIB-TEK) announced planned power outages due to design and repair works on the power lines.

In Nicosia on Friday from 10:00 to 13:00, due to low-voltage line work, the streets Halkalı, Tavşanlı, part of Gazi Mustafa Cahit, as well as Laden, Çamlık, Yaren, and surrounding areas will be without electricity.

In Kyrenia on Thursday from 10:00 to 13:00, due to medium-voltage network maintenance, electricity will be cut in the Karmi (Karaman) area, Karaman pumping stations, civil aviation and radar military facilities, the western part of the village Edremit (in the mountains), Meriç Erülkü residential complex, GAÜ male dormitory, Edremit village center, as well as in Karmi Gazino, Hideaway Club Hotel, and Edremit roundabout zones.
